Humanoid robot · the G1 upgraded in motion, perception and interaction
The G1+ is the upgraded G1 announced by Unitree: it keeps the G1's value for money and brings six upgrades across three areas: motion performance, perception and interaction, and intelligent experience. It comes in two versions: G1+ and G1+ EDU.
The G1+ does not have a list price yet: we confirm it with a written quote based on the version (G1+ or G1+ EDU) and configuration.
Not to be confused with the G1 EDU Plus (U2), an EDU version of the current G1.
According to Unitree, the G1+ keeps the G1's value for money and improves it in motion, perception and intelligence. In short: +2 neck degrees of freedom, +110% shoulder and waist motor torque, +43% maximum arm torque and continuous external power supply.
Pitch from −25° to 36° and yaw ±110°: the head turns to observe the surroundings and interact more naturally.
Shoulder and waist: peak torque +110%, heat at the same torque −72%. Arms: peak torque +43%, heat −30%. Thighs: heat at the same torque −28%.
Binocular camera with 60 mm baseline, 2 MP, centre ≥500 LW/PH, FOV H110° / V80° / D125°; wide-angle monocular camera 1920×1080 at 30 fps, FOV H117° / V67°. Stereo depth perception and an ultra-wide field of view.
Touch sensors integrated in the head (5 high-sensitivity points): a tap starts a conversation or triggers a motion.
The G1+ can run on an external power supply (rear input DC 54.6 V, ≤7.4 A) for long research sessions and demos.
6-microphone array (4 front, 2 rear) with DOA sound-source localisation, noise reduction and echo cancellation; supports external wireless microphones (charging case with 50 m range and 80 dB signal-to-noise ratio). Dual 10 W waist speakers.
Data from Unitree's official product page, as published. The EDU version adds custom software development, optional extra degrees of freedom and computing modules.
