The full Unitree range, one public price list

Whether you are searching for the price of a Unitree Go2, want to buy a Unitree G1 humanoid for your lab, or are comparing industrial quadrupeds for site inspection, you will find every Unitree family here, each with its own page, versions and prices:

Robot dogs and quadrupeds. The Unitree Go2 is the compact quadruped: it walks and runs on varied terrain, follows its user and is controlled via app and remote, while the EDU versions are programmable for research, inspection and education. The Unitree AS2 is the new-generation mid-size quadruped between Go2 and A2, with Pro, X and EDU versions carrying an industrial 64 to 128-line LiDAR and IP54 protection. For plants and outdoor work there are the Unitree A2, an industrial quadruped for inspection, surveillance and transport (IP56, or IP56 to IP67 on the A2 Pro), and the Unitree B2, Unitree's most rugged quadruped, rated IP67 and built for heavy payloads and rough terrain. Wheeled-leg versions (Go2-W, AS2-W, A2-W, B2-W) suit long routes on regular surfaces.

Humanoid robots. The Unitree R1 is Unitree's most compact and affordable biped humanoid, suited to education, labs, demos and entry-level development. The Unitree G1 walks, gets up, performs demo motions from the Unitree app and, in EDU versions, can be programmed via SDK for research on locomotion, manipulation and learning. The Unitree H2 is the full-size humanoid (about 1.8 m and 31 degrees of freedom) for research, advanced demos and human-scale tasks.

Dual-arm platforms and robot arms. The Unitree G1-D is a dual-arm humanoid torso on a fixed stand or mobile base for manipulation on benches and shop floors, and the Unitree R1-D is the R1 dual-arm torso, on a fixed base or a mobile chassis with lifting column, for bimanual manipulation and embodied-AI research. Finally, the Unitree Z1 and D1 robot arms cover light manipulation, research and mounting on mobile robots.

All prices come from our public end-user price list: in euros, excluding VAT, and the same in every country. You can see what the right version costs before your first call; shipping, insurance and delivery terms to the UK are set out in the written quote that confirms every order. If your finance team needs a figure in pounds, we can give a GBP equivalent on request, but quotes and invoices are in EUR.

Why buy Unitree from Abra Robotics

Advice before you buy. The differences between Air, Pro and EDU versions are significant: only EDU versions allow secondary development through the SDK, and sensors, computing modules or dexterous hands change both the price and what the robot can do. We start from your task (research, teaching, inspection, demonstration or a pilot in production) and then recommend the model, version and accessories, rather than selling from a catalogue.

Programmable platforms. The EDU and research versions expose SDKs for C++, Python and ROS 2, from high-level to low-level control. When you buy a robot or a training programme from us, our tested starter libraries on GitHub, maintained by the Abra team, are included.

Proof of concept for businesses. If you want to test a use case before a larger investment, we offer an assessment and a proof of concept (PoC) on your actual task. For universities and research centres we prepare the quote and technical documentation needed for procurement and grant applications.

Support in English. Abra Robotics is based in Italy. Quotes, communication, training and technical support for UK customers are in English (Italian also available). Remote support is the standard; on-site work in the UK is possible by agreement.

Who buys Unitree robots in the UK

Typical buyers are university departments and research labs working on locomotion, manipulation, imitation learning and embodied AI, who usually need an EDU version (see Universities and research); companies evaluating legged robots for inspection and surveillance of plants and outdoor sites, where the A2, B2 and AS2 Pro are the natural candidates; and schools, innovation centres and businesses that want a robot for demonstrations, events or showrooms, where the Air versions of the Go2, R1, G1 and H2 are often enough.

If you are not sure which family fits, start with the comparison pages for quadrupeds and humanoids, or send us a short description of the task and we will suggest two or three options with their prices.

Our service: from choosing the robot to programming it

Selection and configuration: we help you choose the model, version and accessories for your application and deliver the robot configured and ready to use.

Commissioning and training: we support commissioning and train your team, both for day-to-day operation and for the first steps with the SDK, ROS 2 and simulation. There are dedicated training programmes for universities and labs, and buying a robot or a training programme includes our tested starter libraries on GitHub.

Programming and software development: we develop custom software, from programming the robot to integration with ERP and MES systems and AI applications that work directly with the robot.

Proof of concept and after-sales support: with an assessment and PoC we test the use case on your task. After delivery we remain your technical point of contact: remote support in English, on-site visits by agreement. More in English: Universities & Research and Manufacturing & Logistics.

Delivery, import VAT and customs to the UK

We ship from Italy. List prices are in euros, excluding VAT; shipping and insurance to the UK are not included and are quoted in the offer. Lead time and delivery terms are confirmed in the written quote. Each shipment comes with a commercial invoice for customs, and all communication and support are in English.

Since Brexit the United Kingdom is outside the EU VAT area and customs union, so a delivery to Great Britain is an import. The information below summarises the general rules as checked on official UK and EU sources in October 2026; it is not tax or customs advice.

Great Britain: England, Scotland and Wales (non-EU)

Delivery terms: we deliver DAP (Delivered at Place). The buyer, or its courier or customs broker, handles UK import clearance. Import VAT, any customs duty and clearance or broker fees are paid by the importer at import, unless the quote says otherwise.

Italian VAT: a sale of goods to a customer outside the EU is an export, so no Italian VAT is charged on our invoice.

Import VAT: charged at the same rate as a UK domestic supply, currently the standard rate of 20%. The value for VAT is the customs value plus customs duty and incidental costs such as packing, transport and insurance up to the first destination in the UK. UK VAT-registered businesses can use postponed VAT accounting: they declare the import VAT on their VAT Return for the period covering the import date and reclaim it as input tax under the normal rules, instead of paying it at the border.

Customs duty: on the UK Global Tariff the third-country duty is 0% for commodity code 8479 50 00 00 (industrial robots, not elsewhere specified), 8428 70 00 00 (industrial robots, under handling machinery) and 8479 89 97 90 (other machines with individual functions), as shown on the UK Trade Tariff in October 2026. The correct code depends on the specific product and is the importer's responsibility: please confirm it with your customs broker. Unitree robots are made in China; under GOV.UK rules of origin guidance, origin is not the country the goods are shipped or bought from, so they are not EU-originating goods for UK–EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement preference. With a 0% third-country rate on these codes, no preference claim is needed.

Documents: the importing business needs an EORI number starting with GB to make customs declarations. We provide the commercial invoice; your courier or broker submits the import declaration.

Northern Ireland

Under the Windsor Framework, goods moving between the EU and Northern Ireland follow different VAT rules, and businesses trading goods with the EU use a VAT number with the XI prefix. If you are a business in Northern Ireland, tell us when you request a quote so we can confirm the correct VAT treatment for your delivery. Shipping and insurance are quoted; support in English.

UK tax reliefs and funding for robotics

Several public schemes in the UK can reduce the net cost of a robotics project or fund the R&D around it: capital allowances on plant and machinery, R&D tax relief and regional adoption programmes for manufacturers. The list below covers schemes that apply in 2026 (checked October 2026).

Abra Robotics can provide the quote and technical documentation (specifications, configuration) for your claim or application. We do not give tax or funding advice.

United Kingdom

  • Capital allowances: full expensing and the 40% first-year allowance: Full expensing lets companies claim 100% capital allowances on qualifying main-rate plant and machinery, such as a robot bought for the business. From 1 January 2026 a new permanent 40% first-year allowance applies to new and unused main-rate plant and machinery; it is available to Corporation Tax and Income Tax payers and mainly helps unincorporated businesses and assets bought for leasing (conditions in the HMRC Capital Allowances Manual, CA23195A). Which allowance fits depends on your business structure and the asset. Official page
  • Annual Investment Allowance (AIA): Sole traders, partnerships whose members are all individuals, and limited companies can deduct the full value of qualifying plant and machinery from their profits before tax, up to an AIA limit of £1 million per accounting period. You claim in the period in which you bought the item; companies under common control share one allowance. Official page
  • R&D tax relief: merged scheme and ERIS: For accounting periods beginning on or after 1 April 2024, companies doing qualifying R&D (for example on robot control, manipulation or embodied AI) claim under the merged R&D expenditure credit, at 20% of qualifying expenditure, or, if they are loss-making R&D-intensive SMEs, under enhanced R&D intensive support (ERIS). Your adviser will check which project costs qualify and whether you must notify HMRC in advance of the claim. Official page
  • Made Smarter Adoption (England): A programme for small and medium-sized manufacturing and engineering businesses with manufacturing premises in England, delivered by regional partners according to the postcode of your main site. Support includes impartial technology advice, digital road-mapping and leadership training, and in several regions match-funded grants of up to £20,000 for hardware or software. Support varies by region, so check availability with your regional partner. Official page

This overview is for orientation only and is not tax or funding advice. Please check eligibility, deadlines and amounts directly with HMRC, the programme concerned or your accountant or tax adviser.

Frequently asked questions

Do I pay Italian VAT when buying from the UK?

No. Goods shipped from Italy to the UK are an export from the EU, so no Italian VAT is charged. Instead, the importer pays UK import VAT at the standard rate of 20% when the goods arrive, calculated on the customs value plus duty, freight and insurance to the first UK destination. VAT-registered businesses can account for it on their VAT Return with postponed VAT accounting and reclaim it under the normal rules.

Is there customs duty on Unitree robots imported into the UK?

On the UK Global Tariff the third-country duty for industrial robots (commodity codes 8479 50 00 00 and 8428 70 00 00) and for 8479 89 97 90 is 0% (checked on the UK Trade Tariff in October 2026). The correct commodity code depends on the product and is the importer's responsibility, so please confirm it with your customs broker. Clearance or broker fees are paid by the importer unless the quote says otherwise.

Do Unitree robots qualify for zero tariffs under the UK–EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement?

Unitree robots are made in China, and GOV.UK guidance is clear that origin is where goods are produced or sufficiently processed, not the country they are shipped or bought from. They therefore do not count as EU-originating goods for preferential treatment. For the commodity codes above this makes no practical difference, because the third-country duty is already 0%.

How long does delivery to the UK take?

Lead time depends on the model, version and availability, and is confirmed in the written quote. Shipping and insurance to the UK are not included in the list price and are quoted separately.

What do I need to import a robot into Great Britain?

A GB EORI number for the importing business, a customs declaration (usually made by your courier or customs broker using our commercial invoice) and payment or postponed accounting of import VAT. We deliver DAP, so customs clearance in the UK is arranged on the buyer's side unless the quote says otherwise.

Can I test a Unitree robot before a larger investment?

Yes: for businesses we offer an assessment and a proof of concept (PoC) to test a use case on a real task before a larger rollout. Get in touch with a description of your application.

Are there UK tax reliefs or grants for buying a robot?

Depending on your business and project, capital allowances (full expensing for companies, the 40% first-year allowance or the Annual Investment Allowance), R&D tax relief and Made Smarter Adoption in England may be relevant. See Incentives. We provide the quote and technical documentation for your application; we do not give tax advice.
