Unitree H2 Plus: price, specs and differences vs H2

In brief: the H2 Plus is NVIDIA's Isaac GR00T reference configuration of Unitree's full-size humanoid. Same body (31 degrees of freedom, about 182 cm, about 70 kg), but with the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor T5000 compute module on board, two five-finger Sharpa Wave tactile hands and the NVIDIA Isaac GR00T software stack. It is available for pre-order: Unitree and NVIDIA indicate availability for late 2026.

Unitree H2 Plus is NVIDIA's Isaac GR00T reference configuration of Unitree's full-size humanoid: the same H2 body with three additions, the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor T5000 compute module on board, two five-finger Sharpa Wave tactile hands and the NVIDIA Isaac GR00T software stack. NVIDIA and Unitree announced it on 31 May 2026; it is available for pre-order, with availability expected in late 2026.

Here you will find what really sets the Plus apart from the H2 and the H2 Air (Unitree official data only), how much it costs and when it arrives. For the full overview of the range there is the H2 page; for prices across the whole family, the public price list.

What is the Unitree H2 Plus

The H2 Plus is NVIDIA's Isaac GR00T reference configuration for humanoid robot research, presented by NVIDIA and Unitree on 31 May 2026 at GTC Taipei. The NVIDIA press release describes it as an open reference design that combines the H2 body, the Sharpa Wave hands and the Jetson Thor compute with the Isaac GR00T software, from data capture through to policy training and deployment.

In practice, the H2 Plus is the H2 configured for work on foundation models and fine manipulation: the Thor compute, the Sharpa Wave hands and the Isaac GR00T stack in a single order. On the Unitree page, however, the Sharpa Wave hands are listed as optional: the NVIDIA reference design includes them, and the actual configuration should be confirmed at order time.

The Jetson AGX Thor T5000 module integrates a Blackwell GPU with 2,070 TFLOPS FP4 and 128 GB of unified memory, for on-board sensor processing and real-time model inference. For the Sharpa Wave hands, Unitree states more than 1,000 tactile pixels per fingertip and a force detection sensitivity of 0.005 N.

Differences between H2 Plus, H2 and H2 Air

The body is identical across the versions. The difference lies in compute, hands, software and availability. Watch out for the names: on the Unitree website the base version is called H2 and the development version H2 EDU; in the Abra price list you will find them as H2 Air (or H2 Basic) and H2 EDU.

Summary: if you need to show the humanoid or run a first test, the H2 Air is enough. If you need to develop your own code on it, the H2 EDU adds the development PC and a choice of hands. The H2 Plus is the next step up, when you need compute for AI models and tactile manipulation with a stack that is already validated.

Unitree H2 Plus price and availability

The H2 Plus is available for pre-order, with availability expected in late 2026. In the public price list the H2 Plus page shows €149,900.00 excluding VAT, as an indicative price with an updated quote on request.

To give a sense of the H2 family in the Abra price list (excluding VAT): it ranges from €35,363.30 (H2-A Standard A, upper half without legs) to €261,776.45 (H2 Plus Ultimate N). The biped versions start at €43,873.96 (H2 Air) and €68,085.36 (H2 EDU). A deeper look at prices across the whole H2 range is in the H2 price guide.

Availability is indicated for late 2026. Before ordering, Abra confirms the configuration, delivery times and the price updated at the exchange rate.

Who the H2 Plus is for

The H2 Plus is designed for labs and universities working on physical AI and foundation models: it is the Isaac GR00T reference platform and brings together compute, tactile hands and software in a single system. The NVIDIA press release names Ai2, ETH Zurich, the Stanford Robotics Center and the Advanced Robotics and Controls Laboratory at UC San Diego among the first users.

For a different kind of purchase, it is often not the right choice. A demo or showroom is covered by the H2 Air; a lab that needs to write its own control stack finds everything it needs in the H2 EDU, minus the GR00T platform. And if the budget is tighter, a Unitree G1 EDU costs less and is already widely used by research labs: the comparison is in the humanoid comparison 2026 guide.

Before choosing, it is worth pinning down the use case: for a company that wants to try a humanoid on a real process, the starting point is the guide to a PoC with a humanoid robot.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Unitree H2 Plus?

It is NVIDIA's Isaac GR00T reference configuration of the full-size H2 humanoid, presented on 31 May 2026. Compared with the H2 it adds the NVIDIA Jetson AGX Thor T5000 compute on board, two five-finger Sharpa Wave tactile hands and the Isaac GR00T software stack. The body remains that of the H2: 31 degrees of freedom, about 182 cm and about 70 kg.

How much does the Unitree H2 Plus cost?

It is available for pre-order for late 2026. In the public Abra price list the H2 Plus page shows €149,900.00 excluding VAT as an indicative price, with an updated quote on request. For context, the H2 family ranges from €35,363.30 (H2-A Standard A, upper half without legs) to €261,776.45 (H2 Plus Ultimate N), excluding VAT.

What is the difference between the H2 and the H2 Plus?

The body is the same (31 degrees of freedom). Three things change: the compute, with the Jetson AGX Thor T5000 standard on the Plus; the hands, two tactile Sharpa Wave with 22 degrees of freedom per hand, bringing the total to 75; and the software, with Isaac GR00T integrated. The H2 Air and H2 EDU are already available, while the Plus is expected for late 2026.

When will the Unitree H2 Plus be released?

Unitree and NVIDIA indicate availability for late 2026. As of October 2026, the date of this article, it is available for pre-order.

Who is the Unitree H2 Plus for?

For labs and universities working on physical AI and foundation models: it is the Isaac GR00T reference platform, with compute and tactile hands in a single validated system. For demos, showrooms or a first PoC it is worth considering the H2 Air or the G1 EDU, already available and less expensive.
